Retrospective Living takes one back to a time when furniture was not fussy but sleek, architecturally interesting, and comfortable.

Too often, vintage furniture dealers offer whatever is easily available and representative of a narrow time period, chasing after the latest trend.  We won't sell anything that isn't well made, designed by a true aritsan, and won't hold up for generations to come.  Nor will we carry anything that we wouldn't proudly display in our own home.

Good, informal living substitutes a little headwork for a lot of legwork. It doesn't need wealth, but it does take thought, some ingenuity and resourcefulness, and more than a little loving care to create a home that is really your own.
